This Limited Edition Art car model is based on the real car that ran in the 2.0 L Cup in 2018-2019-2020. It is the third model in the “JFD collection” series.
The real car was driven by J.F. Dirickx and Q. Devreker.

The 2.0 L Cup is a one marque series in vintage car racing. It is sanctioned by Peter Auto, a very well known organizer of high end vintage races.
The real car is built up according to the FIA specifications of 1965 meaning the car has to run on Solex carburetors. Moreover the wheels are the smallest Fuchs wheels in history, every team has to run the same type of tires etc.… All this is done in order to have a very competitive field. Which, believe me, is the case!!!
This car was decorated by Bart Verheyen, an Antwerp artist. The painting has been reproduced on vinyl by Dam’s Grafix as if it were the painter who painted on the canvas.

Over the years the “flying lady” did start to speak. The first text balloon we added was when our hero Nikki Lauda died. Thereafter the lady did thank the Marshalls for their work at the track. Keeping up with the news she finally received a mouth mask (as by then we were already in the Covid Pandemic period.
The model is an exact replica of the real car, with all the difficulties that the decoration brought with it, solved by Spark. It is limited to 100 pieces and will definitely sell out quickly.
