A book written by well known Porsche historian Jürgen Lewandoski together with Antwerp car journalist Bart Lenaerts. Bart’s wife Lies De Mol is responsible for all the actual pictures.
The book traces the story form the 1967 911 R all the way up to the 2016-17 991 R, and all the lightweight Porsche 911’s in between. It is mainly the story of the RS’s.
Some great period shots have been combined with the pictures of the actual cars. One of the stories is about the road trip from Stuttgart to Monza to commemorate the Monza record run of the original 911 R back in 1967.
