911 motorsport responded positively to the demand of “Vander Haeghen & C° underwriters” to bring some of the cars to the show.
Vander Haeghen is specialized, amongst other things, in collectibles and old-timers.
The CEO of Vander Haeghen had the idea of putting up a “concours d’elegance’ within the frame of the 50 year celebration of the Porsche 911.
Most clients of the insurer responded positively to the invitation and this resulted in a wonderful display of very rare, rare and less rare but never the less as beautiful 911’s.
Once again it has to be said that the team of Vander Haeghen did an exquisite job in reassembling all those cars and in caring for their owners.
The drinks were great the food and catering was wonderful and the Gods were with us because the weather was great.
The cars were judged by professional judges such as P. Kantor, B. Van Bellingen, M. Hubrecht and S. De Baere. As with all judging this must have been a very difficult and delicate task for them.
We on the other hand were sitting in our “rocking chair” waiting for the results. Again 911 motorsport took away some first prizes.
