911Motorsport is happy to present a 1/43 model of the Porsche 997 GT3 Cup n° 91 that raced in the 24 Hours of Zolder 2010.
This model is made by Minimodels, a company based in Alleur, close to the Spa Francorchamps circuit in the Belgian Ardennes. Mr. Dantinne the promoter of the model range is well known for his accurate 1/43 models of Belgian cars that run in the Belgian series. The Porsche 997 GT3 Cup n° 91 was prepared by Level Racing for the 24 hour Zolder race.
911Motorsport got involved in the project by one of its drivers: young Belgian talent Ian Gepts.
Unfortunately, due to mechanical problems, the car was not able to make it to the finish. A small but important consolation was the fasted time in the race, set by Ian Gepts. Nevertheless we decided to have a limited series of 10 models build, to commemorate our involvement with the team and driver. The models are presented on a base, mounted in an acrylic box and are numbered from 1/10 to 10/10. Each model is identified with it’s own specially developed commemoration plate.
